StorageCafe further broke down the numbers for certain counties in California, as reported by KTLA5. Building is the less expensive option in all of the counties where TJH builds homes, and the savings can be significant. For example, in Los Angeles County, those who build rather than buy a home save an average of $345,728. In Orange County, the average savings for those who build a new home is $581,372. Homeseekers in Santa Clara County save a staggering $1,101,032 on average when they build versus buy.
