Gina Nixon, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Thomas James Homes will participate in a half-day seminar on “Technology in Home Building” sponsored by Zonda™, the multiplatform organization that informs, advises, and connects the next generation of housing industry experts. The virtual event, scheduled for September 27, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST, will highlight the multifaceted ways builders are using technology.
Nixon, who was awarded with the prestigious B.J. Stewart Women’s Achievement Award in 2021, has been added to a “power panel” of homebuilders that are today leading the industry through their use of proptech to not only advance individual businesses but catapult the home building process to entirely new dimensions for homebuyers.
Property technology, also referred to as ‘proptech,’ is the application of information technology to optimize the processes through which homebuilders and homebuyers research, build, manage and sell the built environment. Today, proptech is influencing every aspect of homebuilding.
For the last four years, Nixon has advanced set-forth goals for Thomas James Homes, one of the nation’s leading urban, single-family homebuilders, that constructs modern, single-family homes in the most desirable neighborhoods across Arizona, Northern and Southern California, Colorado, and the Pacific Northwest. She will share insights about the latest tech trends reshaping the industry as well as how technology applications are helping to simplify decision-making, improve business and operations management, and to successfully sell more homes.
Thomas James Homes has defined itself through innovative partnerships with companies including Brilliant Smart Home Systems, JackRabbit eBike, and James Hardie, as well developing their unique rebuild solution that simplifies and de-stresses the custom home building process and allows homeowners to reimagine the value of their existing property by transforming it into a brand new home.
Leveraging the information, insights and people that move the industry forward, Zonda is on a mission to build the future of housing, believing that better homes mean better lives and stronger communities.
