Yes—Thomas James Homes specializes in tearing down and rebuilding on your existing homesite. We do not offer remodels or additions, but instead provide a full rebuild with one of our curated floor plans tailored to your lot and lifestyle.
Once we’ve assessed your property and confirmed compatibility with our BUILD program, we’ll guide you through a streamlined process—from plan selection and design customization to pricing transparency and a fixed construction schedule. This approach allows you to stay in the location you love while maximizing the layout, functionality, and value of your new home.
How much does it cost to Build?
Budgets typically range from $1.3M to $2.5M, depending on your location, selected floor plan, site conditions, and any design or structural upgrades.
At Thomas James Homes, we offer all-inclusive pricing, which means your budget covers everything from architectural design and permitting to demolition, construction, landscaping, and interior finishes. During the discovery phase, we’ll work with you to understand your needs and refine a build plan that aligns with your homesite and lifestyle—providing clarity and confidence before you commit to a contract.
Can I partner with TJH to build if I am in the process of purchasing a tear down?
Yes—TJH can partner with you during the land acquisition process. Entering into a Due Diligence Agreement early allows us to begin a feasibility study to evaluate the property’s compatibility with your preferred floor plan and build goals.
To get the most out of this process, we recommend securing a 30–60 day feasibility period as part of your land purchase, which provides time to assess site conditions, zoning, and build potential before you close. This proactive step helps ensure clarity and confidence in your investment.
